The only science that can be used to study paranormal phenomenon is empirical evidence from observations from a camera. Any other claim of paranormal evidence is nothing more than pseudoscience. Empirical evidence is information that verifies the truth or falsity of a claim. In the empiricist view, one can claim to have knowledge only when based on empirical evidence (based on observations). This stands in contrast to the rationalist view under which reason or reflection of belief or theory alone is considered evidence for the truth or falsity of some propositions. Empirical evidence is information acquired by observation or experimentation (observations from a camera). This data is recorded and analyzed based on observational data alone. This is the primary source of empirical evidence.
Empiricism in the philosophy of science evidence, especially as discovered in experiments. It is a fundamental part of the scientific method that all hypotheses and theories must be tested against observations of the natural world rather than resting solely on a priori reasoning, intuition, or revelation.
Here is a gallery of some image anomalies captured by A.R.C. OHIO or submitted to us that have held up to our scrutiny. Scrutinizing images should be based upon known camera artifacts and effects and not able to be easily recreated without digital tampering. These are considered anomalous images. Image anomalies are just pieces of observational data of the paranormal phenomenon to be studied. Still image camera anomaly captures are completely different from video anomaly captures
Audio anomalies are the most common captures in paranormal study. EVPs are voices and sounds captured beyond human range of hearing by electronic devices. A.R.C. only captures EVPs directly from the camera and not voice recorders.
Video anomalies are the rarest evidence captures to obtain due to various reasons. Many claimed legitimate video anomalies end up being misconceptions, poor quality, dust or particle, or outright fraud. Video anomalies are very rare and difficult to obtain. We know that many paranormal researchers often overlook fast translucent anomalies as some are very difficult to isolate and analyze. This makes these captures seemingly "easy to dismiss" without in depth analysis.
